Redburn Steading is a detached three-bedroom cottage set within woodland in the quiet hamlet of Redburn, just 7 miles from the coastal town of Nairn in the Scottish Highlands. Red squirrels visit daily and guests regularly spot deer from the conservatory this is proper Highland wildlife on your doorstep. The Northern Lights are visible on clear winter evenings. No hot tub, but honestly, you won't miss it.

The surrounding area is extraordinary. Nairn's beaches, the Moray Firth dolphin coast, Cawdor Castle and Culloden are all within easy reach. Loch Belivat is a 20-minute woodland walk away and the Ardclach Bell Tower (built 1655) is just 30 minutes on foot.

Upstairs, two further super-king and king rooms each have private en-suite walk-in showers and TVs. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is genuinely sociable.

Cawdor Castle is 6 miles away (12 minutes), Fort George is 14 miles (22 minutes), Brodie Castle is 10 miles (15 minutes) and Culloden Battlefield is 18 miles (28 minutes).
