Original features have been carefully preserved think exposed stonework and a gorgeous woodburner set into an original fireplace while the interior has been updated with genuinely contemporary facilities. Nairn is a proper Highland seaside resort. Two sandy beaches are within a mile and the harbour is just a short walk away. Culbin Forest trails, coastal paths and river walks are all on the doorstep.

About Isla's Cottage

Isla's Cottage is a beautifully renovated original stone-built fisherman's cottage sitting in the heart of Nairn's historic Fishertown conservation area in the Scottish Highlands. Original features have been carefully preserved think exposed stonework and a gorgeous woodburner set into an original fireplace while the interior has been updated with genuinely contemporary facilities. This is a Customers' Choice 2025 property with a 4.8/5 guest rating.

Nairn is a proper Highland seaside resort. Two sandy beaches are within a mile and the harbour is just a short walk away. Culbin Forest trails, coastal paths and river walks are all on the doorstep. Golf, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing are all easily accessible from here.

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms. Downstairs there's a 4ft 6in double bedroom and a shower room. Upstairs via a steep spiral staircase sits a twin room with two 3ft singles note the sloping ceilings mean restricted headroom up there.

Cawdor Castle (7 miles), Culloden Battlefield (12 miles), Fort George (11 miles) and Brodie Castle (8 miles) are all within easy reach.

Isla's Cottage is perfect for couples and small families who want a genuine Highland seaside base with real character, great walking and history all around them.
